1st day

1. What are you excited about, nervous about and wondering about?
I am very stoked about bonding with these children at Allen Elementary, I'm intrigued due to the way they express themselves, as if they were young adults in a small classroom with ABC's hanging on the wall. Also how they communicate to the teacher. I was nervous about whether the children would want to bond with me or not, but luckily they didn't appose.

2. What are you most surprised by during your first week of internship and why?
During my first week of internship, I'm excited and surprised. Seeing how the children engage with each other, even if it's by helping a peer. Nothing can compare with the, love and passion they give to everything. For example today when the children were at recess, a girl spilled orange juice on her self. She was very bummed about it, but the rest of the girls were telling her that everything was going to be okay. That the washer was going to clean it up for her. Having that experience made my day, because, they always look for a solution to there thoughts.
